6-Month Roadmap
On Track ✓First Pass
Cover all topics + 20-30 MCQs per concept
Integration
Mixed sessions, target weak areas to 75%
CBQs & Timing
1.5 min/MCQ pace, build 4-hour stamina
Mock Exams
Full Test-Day sim every weekend
💡 12–15 hrs/week · Consistency beats cramming
Focus on One Part
Do not study for Part 1 and Part 2 simultaneously if you work full-time. Pick one, clear it, then move to the next.
Active vs Passive
Stop re-reading the textbook. The exam tests application. Spend 80% of your time solving MCQs and reading explanations.
12–15 Hours / Week
Consistency is key. 1.5 hours every morning before work, plus 4 hours on weekends. Skip the 8-hour Sunday cram sessions.
The 6-Month Roadmap
Follow this timeline to structure your preparation for a single CMA part.
First Pass & Concept Building
Cover the entire syllabus topic by topic. Read the concept, immediately do 20–30 MCQs on that topic. Do not worry about speed yet; focus purely on accuracy and understanding why wrong answers are wrong.
Topic Integration & Review
Start doing mixed-topic MCQ sessions. Clear CMA's adaptive engine will automatically flag your weak areas. Re-study those specific concepts and do targeted MCQ drills until your accuracy hits 75%.
CBQs & Timing
Introduce Case-Based Questions (CBQs) into your practice. Start timing your MCQ sessions (aim for 1.5 minutes per question). The goal is to build stamina for a 4-hour exam.
Mock Exams & Final Polish
Take a full-length Exam-day-style mock exam every weekend. Spend Sunday reviewing every single mistake. Taper your studying 2 days before the actual exam to rest your brain.
